In psychology, maturity means the ability of a person to respond in a matter or circumstances in a appropriate matter. Maturity is not in determined by age. maturity also covers the awareness of the correct time and place to behave properly and knowing when to act appropriately, according to the situation. Generally, older people are more matured than juvenile ones. But in legal purposes, people are not psychologically matured enough to do certain work such as driving, binging a contract and making a medical decisions until they have reached the certain age. judge Julian Mack, helped create the juvenile law in united states says that this law is based on the on the belief that young people do not always make good decisions because they are not mature, but this means that they can be reformed more easily than adults.
